LifeCents Selected as One of the NVTC Tech 100

Company recognized as a top D.C. software company and SaaS provider

Washington D.C., December 4, 2018 – LifeCents, a financial wellness company, today announced that the company was selected as one of Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Tech 100, which recognized a group of companies and individuals who are driving tech innovation and growth in the Greater Washington region.

The company was chosen–among other accomplishments–for their work with two D.C. programs: “Financially Fit DC,” an initiative aimed at helping local residents achieve financial freedom, and the Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program, a citywide short-term employment and training program for D.C.’s youth.

“LifeCents is a leading software company because its robust and comprehensive financial wellness solution truly works,” said Blake Allison, founder and CEO of LifeCents. “In the last year we raised Series B funding, doubled our workforce, redesigned and re-launched our platform and acquired a diverse number of new clients. We are looking forward to partnering with more local D.C. organizations in the future.”

In using LifeCents, more than 300 financial institutions, nonprofits, government organizations, and employers recognize the critical importance of financial health and wellness.

The NVTC Tech 100 award recognized a number of other notable companies in the region, including Amazon Web Services, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrup Grumman Corporation and Siemens Government Technologies Inc. The Tech 100 was celebrated at an exclusive party at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner on December 3, 2018.
