LifeCents to Support Financially Fit Oregon Pilot Program

Company will help residents improve their financial well-being, plan for future

Washington D.C., January 1, 2018  — LifeCents, a financial wellness company, today announced their partnership with the Oregon Business Council’s “Oregon Healthiest State Initiative,” a pilot program that aims to improve the financial wellness of pilot participants.

The program, which recently launched through the Oregon Healthiest State initiative, includes tools to help consumers assess their financial IQ, habits, and mindset, and direct them to content-specific resources based upon their personal financial health profile.

Program participants will have access to an assessment that measures their financial IQ, financial habits, and financial mindset. After the assessment, participants will be directed to Oregon-based services and resources that guide their path to better financial health.

The Oregon Healthiest State initiative ultimately hopes to expand the financial fitness program to its state employees and, later, to all Oregon residents.

“American workers spend an average of 28 hours a month researching personal financial issues,” said Blake Allison, CEO and President of LifeCents. “Our hope is that our partnership with Financially Fit Oregon will help alleviate some of that financial anxiety for local residents as financial health plays a critical role in overall well-being.”
